North Rockland Hosts Bilingual Education Learning Exchange

The North Rockland Central School District welcomed educators from across the Hudson Valley and representatives from the New York State Education Department’s Office of Bilingual Education and World Languages for a Regional Bilingual Education Resource Network (RBERN) Learning Exchange focused on our Dual Language elementary programs, now in their fifth year. Visitors observed classroom instruction, learned about the Bilingual Village and Young Scholars Seal of Biliteracy Program and shared ideas for strengthening bilingual education across the region. The day was an opportunity to celebrate the work happening in North Rockland and learn from educators working to expand bilingual learning opportunities for students.
