170 North Rockland Seniors Projected to Earn New York State Seal of Biliteracy
Jun 3 2026
North Rockland continues to set the standard for student achievement.
This year, an incredible 170 members of the Class of 2026 are projected to earn the New York State Seal of Biliteracy, the highest number in Rockland County. Since launching the program in 2017, nearly 700 Red Raiders have demonstrated proficiency in two or more languages, earning a distinction that reflects both academic excellence and global readiness.
And we’re just getting started. With biliteracy opportunities now beginning in our elementary schools, North Rockland is building a seamless pathway that empowers students to develop multilingual skills from their earliest years through graduation.
Congratulations to our future Seal recipients for proving that language is more than communication, it’s a bridge to opportunity.
