NRHS and FMS perform at Music in the Parks Festivals
Our high school ensembles (including band, orchestra and chorus) traveled to Busch Gardens in Virginia for a 3-day, 2-night performance and educational experience. Simultaneously, our eighth-grade ensembles participated in their adjudication event at Six Flags in Jackson Township, New Jersey.
We are proud to share the following outstanding results:
North Rockland High School Awards:
Orchestra – Top Three, Excellent Rating
Chorus – 1st Place, Excellent Rating
Band – 1st Place, Superior Rating and Overall Trophy
Fieldstone Middle School (8th Grade) Awards:
Orchestra – 1st Place, Superior Rating
Chorus – 1st Place, Excellent Rating
Band – 1st Place, Excellent Rating
A huge thank you to the dedicated music teachers from North Rockland High School and Fieldstone Middle School for their leadership, to our incredible student musicians for their hard work and to the parent chaperones for their support throughout the trip.
