NRCSD Hosts 2026 Mid-Hudson School Study Council Annual Meeting & Awards

NRCSD proudly hosted the 2026 Annual Meeting & Awards Ceremony for the Mid-Hudson School Study Council, a regional organization dedicated to supporting schools through leadership collaboration, professional development, and student-centered programs across the Hudson Valley. NRCSD Superintendent Dr. Kris Felicello, who also serves as the Vice President of MHSCC, helped honor outstanding educators and community members from across the region.

We are especially proud to celebrate three outstanding members of the North Rockland family who were recognized for their dedication and impact:

  • Golden Apple Award - Ruth Shack
  • Excellence in Community Service - Vivianna Zepeda
  • Teacher Excellence Award - John Bjorkman

The evening also showcased the incredible talents of our students. The NRHS NJROTC presented the Color Guard with pride and professionalism, an NRHS senior delivered a beautiful performance of the National Anthem and members of the FMS Drama Society wowed attendees with a special performance from Disney’s Frozen.

Congratulations to all who helped make the evening such a memorable celebration of leadership, service and Raider Pride!
